My Name is Cian Byrne.

I am a passionate, Irish-born freelance music composer with over 5 years of experience. I have been a massive fan of Film, TV Shows & Videogames all my life & the incredible soundtracks from these forms of media always connected with me which led me to learn the piano.

I played the music I loved from my favourite Films or Videogames so I grew a dedicated passion for what I was doing & I became addicted to the art of instrumental music.

 

My journey continued as a hobby until I had discovered amazing composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Murphy, Ramin Djawadi, Koji Kondo, John Paesano, Michael Giacchino & many more. Listening to their work inspired me to want to do what they do. I now had a life-long goal that I aspired for. I decided I wanted to be a music composer as a main career for my life. I upgraded my equipment into a personal home studio, I spent many months taking courses on learning music theory, chords & intervals, how to compose music, etc. I also learned how to use a D.A.W. I invested heavily into the latest of what Cubase had to offer & the rest is history.

 

I now have a career in composing original music & soundtracks for multiple projects! One last thing I will say is to believe in your dreams. Have faith in yourself & don’t listen to anyone who says you can’t do it. My dreams are now reality & I’m growing myself everyday.
